Wondering how to fill half term? Here is what is on at the farm this week.

Tuesday 27 October: Halloween Family Morning. Pumpkin painting in the polytunnel with a locally grown pumpkin to take home. £8 per child including a drink and a treat from our bake counter, grown ups come free. Book pumpkin painting

Thursday 29 October, 9am to 12 noon: Breakfast, Walk and Talk. A hearty Hockey’s breakfast, a talk from Dan Parsons of New Forest Venison and a guided walk around our farm loop with the team. £20 per person, booking essential. Book breakfast

Saturday 31 October, 9am to 1pm: Local author Ali Hoyle is here with a pop-up shop for her children’s book, Meet Wizz and Fizz. Bring your little readers to meet the author. No booking needed, just pop in.

Any day of the week: no bookings and no big plans. Say hello to the animals, have lunch in the Farmyard Cafe and grab a slice of cake. While you are here, ask our butchers about hogget and venison for a slow-cooked autumn supper once everyone is back indoors.
